Stacking the Shelves #6
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! Visit Tynga's Reviews to learn more about this weekly meme.
This week I've only got e-books, but I'm still happy that I got books nonetheless! I got a bunch of freebies on my Kindle, but I'm too lazy to look through all the ones that I've bought! I did splurge on some iBooks though for my phone, which will probably take me months to get to, but I'm still excited to read!
iBooks I Bought:
Saving Wishes by G.J. Walker-Smith
This is a iBook freebie and I decided to snag it because it sounds cute. There seems to be a good amount of positive reviews for this. So, I hope I enjoy it.
Lovely by Allison Liddelle
It's also another iBook freebie. I can't decide if I'm excited to read it or not. It sounds really good and the premise is awesome, but the reviews for this are very low.
I snagged an awesome $.99 cent deal on a trilogy!
The Immortal Essence trilogy by RaShelle Workman
I'm really looking forward to these books. While I've seen negative reviews for Exiled, I'm hoping that I'll love it!
Outcast by Adrienne Kress
I also snagged this for a really good price! $2.99! I'm so happy I got this one! I've heard amazing things about it and it looks so good. I can't wait to start Outcast!
Rock Chick by Kristen Ashley
I'm not really sure if I'll like this one. It sounds good and I've heard great things about Ashley. It was only $.99 so, of course, I had to snag it.
Netgalley/ ARCs:
Somebody Up There Hates You by Hollis Seamon
I'm really excited to give this one a shot. Thank you, Algonquin Books!
Conjured by Sarah Beth Durst
This one sounds absolutely amazing and I'm surprised I was approved for this! Thanks, Bloomsbury!
Shadows by Paula Weston
I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO happy I got approved for this! I am literally screaming with happiness. Thank you, Tundra SO MUCH!
Deceived by Julie Anne Lindsey
I'm not a 100% sure what this one is about, but it looks interesting! Thanks, Merit Press!
That's my shelves for this week! What have you received? Leave your links in the comments!:)

I also got Conjured from NG, and hope it lives up to my hopes! I've enjoyed the author's other books I've read and that one just sounds awesome.

DeleteThank you!:)
You got an awesome pile of books Sarah! And such great deals that i am so jealous of! XD I thought I read a synopsis of Outcast already but I went to check and i didn't categorize it in any of my bookshelves and that synopsis. She shot an angel...how kick-ass and adorable can things get? XD
ReplyDeleteAnyways, hope you enjoy that lovely pile, Sarah! ^^
Thanks, Delaney! I bought the books and I'm jealous of how awesome these deals are. ;) I know! Totally badass. You don't hear that every day!
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
Shadows is amazing! I really hope you enjoy it. I'm super curious about Outcast too. I've also heard great things and look forward to reading it myself. Enjoy! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sam! I love seeing that so many people enjoyed Shadows! I'm excited to start it.:)
DeleteI'm curious what you'll think of outcast, SM--I quite liked it overall, though I had reservations about other things. And wow, Shadows, too! We have the author doing a guest post on our blog soon, those Aussies are something else. :)
ReplyDeleteWendy @ The Midnight Garden
I agree, Wendy! I'm beginning to love Aussie writers though! I'm so excited to start both Outcast and Shadows! Glad you enjoyed Outcast. Hopefully we can discuss it later!
DeleteI will say one thing about your haul, Sarah: Most of the covers are gorgeous! I have Shadows but I want to wait until all the books are out before I pick it up. Rock Chick is something I want to get to as well! I love Kristen Ashely! Enjoy your reads. :)
ReplyDeleteI love pretty covers, Rachel! They are a guilty pleasure. :P It's good to hear that you enjoy Kristen Ashley, I'm nervous about her books. I haven't started Shadows yet, but it looks fabulous.:)
