Reading Rush 2020 TBR

Hey, everyone! I decided last minute to participate in the Reading Rush. I have done the BookTube-A-Thon for multiple years in the past, but I didn't participate in The Reading Rush last year because I was on a mission trip in Detroit during the week of the event. It stars tomorrow, July 20, and runs until the July 26. You can go to website  to sign up and participate. So, here's my Reading Rush TBR!

1/ Read a book with a cover that matches the color of your birth stone.

I'm a December baby. Apparently there are three possible birthstones, but I'm just going to go with the one on the Gem Society page which is blue zircon.

 

I want to reread This is Not a Test by Courtney Summers, so I will be picking it up!
2/ Read a book that starts with the word “The”.

    

These are some of my top options. Since this category is so broad to title range, I wanted to give myself options.
3/ Read a book that inspired a movie you’ve already seen. 

 

I just got this audiobook from the library, so it fits! I love the movie even though I know a lot of people don't, but I'm excited to read this one since it's so beloved and different from the film.

4/ Read the first book you touch. 

 

I'm currently reading this and it's the closest physical book to me. 

5/ Read a book completely outside of your house.

I can choose any book for this challenge, so I'll leave this category open.
6/ Read a book in a genre that you’ve always wanted to read more of.

 

I don't read a lot of memoirs, so let's go with this one. 

7/ Read a book that takes place on a different continent than where you live.
 

I'm currently reading this and it takes place in Mexico!
