God, Greed, and the (Prosperity) Gospel: How Truth Overwhelms a Life Built on Lies by Costi W. Hinn- I am fascinated with the American church's obsession with prosperity and how as a culture we are more concerned with worshipping money and what it can give us. Super excited for this one!
No More Holding Back: Emboldening Women to Move Past Barriers, See Their Worth, and Serve God Everywhere by Kat Armstrong- I have been really excited for this one and I saw a physical copy in the bargain section of Mardel, so I grabbed it.
Reclaiming Our Forgotten Heritage: How Understanding the Jewish Roots of Christianity Can Transform Your Faith by Curt Landry- Has anyone else noticed that most Christians know absolutely nothing about what Jesus died for as a Jew and have a lot of anti-Semitic beliefs?? No, just me. I think it's because Christians believe they are above learning about Jews and the faith.
Fierce Faith: A Woman's Guide to Fighting Fear, Wrestling Worry, and Overcoming Anxiety by Alli Worthington- I don't really know what this book is about, but I'm obsessed with the cover and so I decided to pick it up.

Highway of Tears: A True Story of Racism, Indifference, and the Pursuit of Justice for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls by Jessica McDiarmid- I am a huge advocate for learning about the missing and the murdered and this is a topic I'm particularly passionate about it because these women and children have been purposely brushed aside and hidden by those in power CR
Monster, She Wrote: The Women Who Pioneered Horror and Speculative Fiction by Lisa Kroger and Melanie R. Anderson- I saw jobis89 post about this on her Instastories and I knew I had to get it. I caved a couple of days later and bought it. It was such a fun novel. 4.25 stars
Leave the World Behind by Rumaan Alam- This was my BOTM pick and I've heard mixed and polarizing thoughts, but I'm curious and excited to give it a shot.
The Yellow Wall-Paper, Herland, and Selected Writings by Charlotte Perkins- I have read "The Yellow Wall-Paper", but I'm super excited to own this because it has Herland, which is a book I've been wanting to read since I came across its mention in Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald.
The Ghost Stories of Edith Wharton- I'm curious of Edith Wharton's work both the gothic ghosties and the historical drama.
Seer of the Sevenwaters by Juliet Marillier- I finally decided to finish purchasing the Sevenwaters series. This is the second half of the series and the original trilogy is one of my favorites in the world (Daughter of the Forest means so, so, so much to me).
Flame of Sevenwaters by Juliet Marillier- This is the last book in the Sevenwaters series and the reasons I haven't read book 4-6 yet is because I don't want it to end for me.
Horrid by Katrina Leno- I bought this because it's beautiful and it's a YA ghost story. LOOK AT THAT COVER.
Of One Blood: Or, the Hidden Self by Pauline Elizabeth Hopkins- This was one author from Monster, She Wrote that I didn't know about or had ever heard of and she is such a fascinating woman.
Haunted Houses: Two Novels by Charlotte Riddell- Color me curious about this one.

Roald Dahl's Book of Ghost Stories- I have always wanted to read more of Dahl's adult short stories after reading "Lamb to the Slaughter".
The Sundial by Shirley Jackson- This book calls to me. Out of all of Jackson's work this is the one I think I will love the most.
We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson- This is a novel that interests me and the cover is haunting and I love it.
Animal Wife by Lara Ehlrich- THIS COVER. YO THIS COVER. A short story collection say no more.
The Girl in Red by Christina Henry- Red Riding Hood in an apocalypse. Say no more.
Exquisite Corpse by Poppy Z. Brite- Listen, cannibal serial killers roaming the streets of New Orleans a la Jeffrey Dahmer. This book is graphic, but so beautifully written sometimes I would just cry because of how beautiful the words were. 5 stars
Geek Love by Katherine Dunn- I have been wanting to read this since I first heard someone on BookTube talk about it.
The Elementals by Michael McDowell- Katie from ChapterStackss used to talk about this book all the time and when I was reading Paperbacks from Hell, I was like, yes I need this right now.
Wilder Girls by Rory Power- I loved this book so much. I read an eARC copy of it this year (finally!) and I had to get my own copy. I got the paperback copy with an exclusive story and I was so hype when I cracked this bad boy open to read it. 5 stars

Paperbacks from Hell: The Twisted History of '70s and '80s Horror Fiction by Grady Hendrix and Will Errickson- This was such a good time and I loved looking at the covers and learning about the history of horror. SO GOOD. 4.25 stars
The Reaping by Bernard Taylor- I don't know much about this one, but I think it has something to do with evil nuns?
Stage Fright by Garrett Boatman- This is splatterpunk rock horror, so I don't know if I'll like it, but I'm willing to try everything.
The Spirit by Thomas Page- This could be super racist and it probably will be, but I am going to read all of the Paperbacks from Hell.
Nightblood by T. Chris Martindale- Vampires! But also a Vietnam soldier is the lead, so who knows how misogynistic this will be.
The Pack by David Fisher- Dogs attack! The animals attack section of Paperbacks was so fascinating and I'm curious about this genre within horror.
The Tribe by Bari Wood- This sounds like a moving novel and I'm curious about this. Also, Grady Hendrix seems to really love it, so that's a good recommendation.
Black Ambrosia by Elizabeth Engstrom- I haven't read Engstrom yet, but I'm curious and excited about her work.
The Nest by Gregory A. Douglas- Did you say cockroaches who are mutant and ready to attack? SAY NO MORE.
When Darkness Love Us by Elizabeth Engstrom- Y'ALL LOOK AT THIS COVER!! So pretty and creepy and unsettling. I am obsessed.
Let's Go Play at the Adams' by Mendal W. Johnson- This is a novel that most people hate because of the ending and I loved the ending and it was a very haunting novel. 4.5 stars
A Nest of Nightmares by Lisa Tuttle- I really enjoyed this short story collection. Tuttle has some hits. She has some misses, but I enjoyed this collection and think it's worth looking into for horror fans. 4 stars
All is Not Forgotten by Wendy Walker- I loved Emma in the Night and I found a bargain copy of this book and decided to snag it.
The Ghost Tree by Christina Henry- I loved The Mermaid and I had no Christina Henry is writing horror until I found this in the horror section and this plot sounds AMAZING. So I can't wait to read it.
The House Next Door by Darcy Coates- I had never heard of this author, but they were having a Buy 2, Get a Third One Free Sale and I decided to buy some of her books. Apparently she is beloved and recommended, so I'm excited to give her a try!
Parasite by Darcy Coates- This one sounds so good. After reading The Troop, I learned that I love body/parasite horror.
Hunted by Darcy Coates- I really want this one to have a monster in the woods in it, but the missing family member and people wandering around in the dark of a secluded to find them is a plot I'm always on board for.
The Bachman Books by Stephen King (Richard Bachman)- I FOUND A COPY WITH RAGE!!! I FOUND A COPY WITH RAGE!! I never thought I would ever find a copy of this book and I found it my Books A Million and it was $30 which is a steal because some people sell this for thousands.
Horrorstor by Grady Hendrix- I have heard so much about this one. Everyone loves it.
Elatsoe by Darcie Little Badger- Kayla from BooksAndLala talks so highly of this book, so I ordered a copy. I wanted to read it November, but the month went by quicker than I thought it would.

Who Fears Death by Nnedi Okorafor- I love Nnedi Okorafor's books. I've read the Binti trilogy and really enjoyed that and I loved Akata Witch. I have meaning to read a full length adult novel by her (one could argue Binti is YA since the heroine is college age).
Spare and Found Parts by Sarah Maria Griffin- This sounds interesting and I found it Monster, She Wrote. Hopefully it's a good one.
Save the Last Dance for Me by Judi Miller- I am obsessed with Judi Miller's covers.
The Phantom of the Soap Opera by Judi Miller- Obsessed with this cover. I love how her covers have skeletons on them. Iconic.
