Warfare Prayers for Women: Securing God's Victory in Your Life by Quin Sherrer and Ruthanne Garlock
4 stars
I enjoyed the prayers provided and then I got to the praying for world and country section. Talk about prayers for one political party and affiliation. That always turns me off of Christian rhetoric because God does not favor one political party over the other, but that prayer section would have you thinking otherwise. It also was politically white and not inclusive to praying for policies that affect people of color or marginalized groups, so that's disappointing. That section bumped my rating down from a 5 to a 4. I still recommend it, but I would also just skip that one section if I return to do the prayers again in the future. This is would you expect in a prayer book for women. I would say it's for more mature or seasoned prayer warriors, but I think any woman at any age would benefit since there a sections for every part of life.
Cover Thoughts: I like the cover, but it is also pretty cheesy.
Thank you, Chosen, for providing me with a copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.
