Best Ending to a Series for a YA Novel:
Perfect Chemistry is one of my favorite YA series. I haven't read very many endings to a series this year, but this is my favorite in YA. I will miss the Fuentes brothers.
Best Ending to a Series for an Adult Novel:
I absolutely love the Atlantis series. Showalter created such an intense and beautiful world. Atlantis became real for me and I loved that feeling. Although The Vampire's Bride isn't the best in the series I did really enjoy it and I thought it was fabulous.
Best Contemporary:
I loved the Duff. It was real and held nothing back when it came to realness. Bianca was probably one of the most realest YA heroines ever encountered and I loved her and Weasley *swoon*. He had his flaws but they were easily overlooked. I didn't read any adult contemporaries this year. Although I contemplated it. I just didn't find the ones that I wanted at my library.
Only three categories for this part! P.S. It's my birthday! I'm off to party and eat cake!
I really want to read The DUFF. I saw it at Barnes & Nobles and was really tempted to just steal it off the shelf. But, I resisted my urge and carefully put it back on the shelf.
