Vampire (and Other Paranormal Things) Queen Awards Part 4
Welcome again to another blog award part! This all very last minute! Sorry! Since my birthday was Saturday and yesterday I spent time with family I was busy and didn't have a computer around! Let's do this!
Best Historical for an Adult Novel:
Mine Till Midnight by Lisa Kleypas
I finally got around to reading this book this year. I had read all the other books in the series except the first one. Why it took me so long to find this book I don't know, but I do know that the minute I found it I read it!
Best Historical for a YA Novel:
Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys
This was an absolutely beautiful and captivating tale about a young Lithuanian girl and her family being captured by the Soviets in World War II.
Most Emotional Book:
Stolen by Lucy Christopher
There were times when I could barely breathe when reading. Christopher created a masterpiece that made me question the way I saw things and experience the beauty of the Australian outback all while reading Gemma and Ty's tragic tale of a kidnapping.
Most Realistic Concept:
Hate List by Jennifer Brown
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if you knew someone to kill people? What if your boyfriend killed at a lot of people? All because of a list that you made with him because you were angry. This book was just so real. Everything was real. The guilt, sadness, regret, wonder, and acceptance.
Part 5 will be up shortly!
