BAD Attitude by Sherrilyn Kenyon
BAD Attitude by Sherrilyn Kenyon
First in the B.A.D. Agency series
4 stars
The BAD Agency is a secret organization that hunts terrorists and other threats to society. BAD agent Sydney Westbrook must find the perfect sniper for a risky counter-terrorism mission. J.D. Steele, a military sniper who shot at his CO in a fit of rage, just happens to be perfect for the job. But Sydney and J.D. have never gotten along and this mission is sure to be a bumpy ride. I’m not into spy novels or movies. I’ll watch them and keep an open mind when it keeps to reading them. I’m a huge Sherrilyn Kenyon fan and I decided to give this book a try. I surprising sped through it and I wasn’t bored when reading it.
The main female character is Sydney, who is also known as Syd. Sydney wasn’t a very rememberable character for me. She just didn’t stick out, but there were times that I either liked her or hated her. She’s a pretty average character and she didn’t stick with me.
Kick-Butt Heroine Scale: 4.5
The main male character is Steele. Steele was a comedian. He had wry humor and he was a likeable guy. He kept referencing movies, so I decided to look it up and everything he referenced in pop culture was about cannibalism.
That disturbed me, but it gave me something to do.
Swoon Worthy Scale: 5.5
The Villain- I can’t tell you who the villain is, because that would just give away the fun ride the story brings.
Villain Scale: 4
I want more Tee and Joe.
Character Scale: 6
I don’t think I’m going to pick up a spy novel any time soon, but I will give the rest of the BAD novels a shot. Who knows maybe I’ll be blown away with spy awesomeness.
Cover Thoughts: The cover is really only 75% of page and then you turn the page and there’s nothing but abs. I don’t know what it is, but I like the cover.
