The Dead Files is about a psychic medium and a detective who work together to uncover the pasts of different houses.
Amy is psychic medium and she goes to undisclosed locations with a cameraman and walks around the area (mostly houses or outside areas). Her cameraman goes in before the investigation and takes down pictures or anything that could give away the area/people living there.
Steve, the detective. goes through the town interviewing and researching the house that's in question.
My Thoughts: I like the show and I watch it. The main reason I watch this show is because it plays after Ghost Adventures. Most of the time I think Amy is just crazy or weird. I'm not sure if she's actual psychic, but she's entertaining. Most of the times though she does seem to be honest. Steve is a pretty rational guy and it makes me wonder how he met Amy and started doing this with her.
The Dead Files plays Fridays at 9/8c on the Travel Channel
